Step-by-step Guide

Getting Your Customer Orders into EllieMD Insights

For the Customers tab (Customer Pro and Director Pro): export your customer Order History from Trinity, upload it once, then just add the current month going forward. Takes about 2 minutes.

What You'll Need

Looking for the genealogy import instead (Director Pro downline dashboard)? That's the Genealogy Import Guide.

Part 1
Export Your Customer Order History from Trinity
1

Log in to Trinity and open Order History

Sign in at partner.elliemd.com, then go to My ActivityOrder History. (Same site as your genealogy report — but a different report.)

2

Change Order Type to "Customer"

This is the step everyone misses: the report defaults to Personal, which pulls your own orders. Switch Order Type to Customer so you get your customers' orders instead.

3

Set the date range

First time: set the start date to 1/1/2025 (or your earliest month) through today, so your full history loads in one shot.

Every time after: just leave it on the current month. The Customers tab remembers everything you've already imported and simply adds the new orders — nothing gets overwritten.

4

Refresh, then Download

Click Refresh to run the report, then Download to save the CSV to your Downloads folder.

Part 2
Upload to the Customers Tab
1

Open the Customers tab

Log in to your EllieMD Insights dashboard. On Customer Pro you'll land on the Customers tab automatically; on Director Pro click Customers in the top navigation.

2

Import your orders CSV

Click Import orders and choose the CSV you just downloaded. You'll see a confirmation of how many orders came in and how many were new.

3

Review your reach-out queue

Your customer list builds instantly: who's due for a reorder, who's gone quiet, loyalty badges, and AI-suggested opening lines you can edit before sending. Your notes, VIP flags, and "contacted" checkmarks stay saved across every import.

Optional
Add Contact Info (Emails & Phones)
1

Download the contact template

In the Customers tab, click Contact template to get a blank CSV with the right columns: Customer ID, Name, Email, Phone, Notes, VIP.

2

Fill it in and import

Add the emails and phone numbers you have (tip: you can paste the Customer ID and Name columns straight from your Trinity Lead + Customer List export), then click Import contacts. Everyone you import shows up — whether or not they've ordered yet.

You're all set!

Your Customers tab now knows exactly who to reach out to and when. Import the current month's orders once a month (or whenever you like) to keep it fresh — everything you've saved carries forward.
